The SEC’s 13th Annual Latin American Youth Convention is back! This August 17th – 20th join hundreds of other young adults in Entre Rios, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The weekend includes 3 nights and 4 days in the five star Sol Victoria Hotel with glatt kosher meals, touring, lectures and the Gala dinner.

This summer the SEC is proud to announce that we will be taking over 100 young Jewish adults from across the United States to Israel for FREE with Taglit-birthright Israel! Imagine learning the archaeology of Jerusalem while walking the streets of the city, examining its ancient walls, seeing its historic buildings. Think about taking a course on prospects for peace in the Middle East in light of the current events unfolding daily in Israel. Learn about the history of the Jewish people from Spain to the Middle East. Take a class in Hebrew, what could be more appropriate than studying the Hebrew language in the land of its birth? Classes combine academic challenge with opportunities to live and breathe the subject matter, with visits to archaeological sites and interaction with Israeli society. The language of instruction is English, and no previous knowledge of Hebrew is necessary. The diverse academic offerings are complemented by a variety of stimulating extracurricular activities, seminars and trips.
